Job Description:
Client Servicing Skills
• Partners with clients and other consultancies (i.e. design and interactive agencies) to develop comprehensive, strategic and integrated communications programs that complement the client’s business objectives and deliver results
• Acts as a client leader and maintains a clear and consistent communication channel between the client and the account team
• Oversees quality implementation for a group of accounts, keeping programs on time and within budget
• Manages client meetings and account reviews to foster a strong and supportive relationship with clients
• Reviews all written documents and develops materials on complex issues (e.g. Q&A, key messages, speeches, holding statements etc.)
• May be required to be involved in issues and crisis management with the support of senior management
• Stays abreast of industry trends and takes an active interest in the client’s business to preempt issues and provide strategic counsel to clients
Maintains a strong rapport with journalists/bloggers and identifies news angles and opportunities to meet their needs
• Maintains a steady and positive client presence in traditional and social media
• Develops, pitches and places positive stories by and about the client in appropriate business, trade and consumer media
• Handles complex media inquiries
• Oversees press events and takes part in media trainings, including drafting scenarios and Q&A
